Abduction
After Ishamael leaves, Shelley walks around the room about four times before forcing herself to sit down.
They will be gone soon - if not already. It's hard to keep track of time. Perhaps she will be told when it's happened. Perhaps she will ask. She knows from experience her limits here. If she asks for something she will recieve it, unless it is specifically dangerous to her. The servants will not bother her unless she tries to escape.
A little too late for that right now, though something to consider, perhaps. If Elan-
No. No point wondering.
Carefully she curls up, leaning against the back of the couch.
She sits in silence, not thinking as the Wheel of Time turns.

Kim slips back into the house, trying to remember any of her training, anything she read in those books about self-defense, any tips she might have picked up accidentally. She's exposed, she doesn't know if Ishamael or Asmodean are around and if they catch her...
'No. Stay focused.'
Putting her fears aside, she takes a breath and embraces saidar. As always, she feels more alive, but the still tender wound on her back throbs and every other ache and pain makes itself known.
One minute, two minutes, she waits, her heart beating rapidly, expecting to see Ishamael coming after her. But, the coast is clear and she moves through the house, trying to figure out where Shelley might be.
She stops and looks around a corner, noticing that servants seem particularly interested in one room. She cannot see any wards on the room, but she knows they must be there, and using a trick that she learned from her...from Mesaana, she cuts the weaves.
She looks like any other servant, any other maid milling around, and no one pays any attention to her as she knocks.

How long has it-? Not long, probably. Not long enough for him to be back, certainly, and he wouldn't knock. This is a sitting room. Come to that, not many servants would, but perhaps they were ordered not to walk in on her.
She swallows, ensuring her voice is at least level before answering.
"Come in."
no subject
"Shelley."
no subject
She pales a little, and doesn't move.
"...Kim. I th-thought you were gone."
no subject
"Not without you."
no subject
"I told you I was staying, you have to go. I don't know how long Elan will be away."
no subject
"Not with him."
no subject
Shelley sits back. "This is the best thing, you need to get Nita out of here, and Trillian needs help she can only get in the bar. Please go."
no subject
"He'll do whatever he wants - you can't *trust* him." She feels herself getting emotional, stops talking, tries again.
"We can't leave you, Shelley."
no subject
"It's nothing I haven't done before. I've lived here."
She can do it again. She'll have to.
"Kim, it's not safe for you to stay too long, if he comes back-"
no subject
"He - he raped my sister and..." Saying it makes it real and she fights back tears.
"We're not leaving without you."
no subject
Strange how it hits and twists and makes her feel sicker and angrier and more horrified than ever-
I'm going to kill him. Kill him.
Her voice sounds like it is coming from very far away.
"...I think you have to. Not safe. I-" and her voice breaks on the last word, so she says nothing more, but sits limply where she is.
no subject
"Not safe," Kim agrees and walks over to her. She forces all other feeling away, focusing on Shelley.
She stands next to Shelley and looks down, giving her a determined glare. "We can't let him win. You need to come with us. Now."
And a thought enters her mind, 'the ends justify the means'.
"I'm sorry about this...," she quickly Channels and uses a weave to put Shelley into a light sleep. "I'm really sorry." She says even though she knows Shelley can't hear her, and using flows of air, lifts Shelley up, opens the door, and moves her out into the hall.
She's going to feel bad about this, but they were running out of time.
