Eight things about Shelley
Shelley is not as normal as she thinks she is. Not that she has powers or anything useful, but there's a prophecy, and... Yes. (There's always a damn prophecy...)
She is a complete Star Wars addict. Knowing she could run into someone from that universe is yet another reason she loves Milliways so much.
Talking of things she's scared of: Judges and jellyfish. The first being the reason she didn't become a professional lawyer, although she's highly qualified. The second is more general eeeww-ness, which developed into real horror mixed with suspicion that they are trying to take over the world. Yes, that's silly. She's absolutely right, but it's still irrational and silly.
She plays the piano fairly well, though not often. She can sing too, although her voice is too squeaky to be fashionable in her time. She would have done well in Victorian times, or the 1920s.
She is a closet tea-drinker. She finds it comforting when she is upset. Yes, that would be why she has been doing it a lot recently.
She has an affinity with the supernatural. As in, she tends to be around when peculiarity happens, and is a trouble magnet. If there's Doom about in Tackleford, you can bet Shelley will at least be nearby – usually somewhere in the middle nearly getting killed by it.
She has a darker nature. Everyone does – but Shelley has real potential to go insanely evil. What would trigger that remains to be seen.
The crazy evil that happens to her all the time? Is canon, and therefore not my fault.
...Mostly.
