Oooh ooh ooh, but you forgot that when a character from a fantasy universe tries to learn Enlgish, it takes an average of 1 (one) Earth day, which is always completely handwaved.

It goes like this:

Day one:
Captain Tightpants stared at the alien but somehow enchanting and apparnetly very very feamle form.
If only I could communicate with her, he thought, and picked up a stick, drawing a loop in the stand and saying very firmly: "Circle."

Day Two:
"You are indeed a cvery talented teacher, James Tightpants," said Arrerriggthopia. "But please, what is this thing you call 'kissing'?"
